BIOGRAPHY...
Author Bayo Ojikutu is a third-generation product of the Great Northern Migration
& a second generation son of the Biafran War. His matenal grandmother
was brought to Chicago as a swaddling by her immediate family in 1921,
escaping the way of life such as it was in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ojikutu’s
Yoruba father arrived in the United States in 1968 as his homeland was mired in inter-tribal conflict over land and gods.
